It's a Wrap

You never need wrapping paper when you have a bunch of stamps lying around. This was for a 2 year old boy, and I serendipitously picked out the same colors as the birthday cupcakes and balloons!

I probably won't be posting much in the near future. This morning I dropped off the deposit on a new loft we'll be moving to next month. We're moving on up, literally - up the street and to the 8th floor.

Here's a sneak peek at the soon-to-be new place.

  1. I don't have the patience to make my own wrapping paper, but the one you've made is AWESOME!!

Looks like a beautiful, open and bright apartment you're moving to. Large windows...Mmmm - you could make it your own studio up there! :)

I've been moving many times the later years, and I certainly know how hard it is...but look at the bright side - it's a great chance to sort out old ugly stuff and get all the rest well organized!

    Come back soon!

  2. Ooooh, I love your new loft and the way you used Blip and Bloop. I got my new DF stamps from Tracey the other day and I'm just about to mount them, then I can start playing again. Congrats on your new apartment, it really looks great!

  5. Oh, I know where you are at....

For curtains, we went to Loft Appeal, and had Rich install them. $250 got us a timely installer who even swept up after himself.

He installed the hardware, we hung our Ikea curtains.
