Help Me Make a Rainbow!

It's official, I've become a "stamper". You know how I confirmed this bit of information? I found myself plotting out cards in my head while taking a shower. People who merely dabble in something do not start thinking about that thing in the shower! So I guess I must be a stamper.

At the time, I was thinking about rainbows, or the color purple, or elementary school science class, but I can't remember which order. In any event, the end result of these thoughts was my vision for a Doodle Factory Rainbow made up of many single-colored cards.

My own mission was to make a purple card, but apparently I don't own any purple paper. This monochromatic magenta number is what I made instead. Now this is where YOU come in. I'd like as many people as possible to join me with their own monochrome cards (you can make more than one!)

If you're a member of www.papercraftplanet.com, make sure you join the Starving Artistamps group and post your cards in THIS ENTRY. If you don't want to join, but still want to play, send me your link to your card and I'll add it to the final tally.

Deadline is the end of the month. I'll post all the entries on Feb. 1.

  3. Ooh, I love the card!

AND I immediately had an idea for a monochomatic card - I also know what colour to use, I wonder if it's the same as Nina is using... ;) We do have the same favourite colour.

  5. Haha! So now I know what color Tettiz is going to use... ;)
Well, I guess I'm using almost the same color. One of my favorites!

Irene, I was just wondering - it is allowed to complement your color of choice with minor details in black and/or white, right?

  6. Absolutely - the colors should be mainly in the same family, but accents or black and white are allowed too!

"Lost" is VERY popular in both Sweden and Denmark, I guess... I rarely watch TV at all, though. I've got way to many delish Doodle stamps to work on you know! ;)
Haha, what a nerd I am!

  10. so... I was pouring over some printed outs of the DF images...and DD was looking over my shoulder. I asked her which creatures she thought we should get. And she said "the Bee King" in reference to Twinkx. So in our home, he is now The Bee King! haha

  11. OH, it gets funnier...

Just now at dinner, I related that I told the artist she had called it the Bee King. And then I said something about the "dancing one." And she quizzically said, "It's dancing??" haha
